Certificate in Hygiene and Cleaning
Structure of Qualifications
Virtually every commercial activity, whether public or privately based has a requirement for the premises to be clean and hygienic. These could be offices, washroom facilities on site, food manufacturing operations, in fact, practically anywhere where people interact with each other.
The Level 2 Certificate in Hygiene and Cleaning is designed to develop and recognise the skills of the people who carry out this essential work, and, like all QCF qualifications is based on a number of mandatory and optional units so that each qualification can be tailored to the needs of the individual and the business.
We structure the assessment process around the needs of the individual. Assessments can be carried out in the workplace, on site or at the customers’ premises, and we can cover any UK geographic area.
- Learners receive a comprehensive induction with a full analysis of current skill levels
- Learners are seen monthly by appointment and will work with a qualified assessor with wide experience of the qualification
- Email and telephone contact supports the learning process
Typically, a level 2 award will take about six months to complete while, but the timescale is flexible to take into account the learner’s job role and circumstances.
Costs and Funding
The qualification has the potential for funding depending upon the learners’ employment and relative experience. We will be pleased to advise on an individual basis. There is also an apprenticeship pathway to qualification achievement, and, again we will be pleased to give advice and guidance as appropriate.
