MI & Training Administrator

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced administrator to join our Mi & Administration team. We are a well established training company with a large public funding contract. We deliver training and qualifications nationally and across the North West.

 The post involves the ability to work as part of a team and to communicate with colleagues and customers to ensure deadlines are met.

 Skills and experience in using MI systems are crucial. The post involves data inputting using an external MI system. Accuracy of inputs ensures funding is claimed and checks are made to ensure data and records are audit compliant. Experience of using a management information system for reporting and data inputting as well as auditing to ensure quality compliance is an advantage, specifically PICs.

 The successful applicant will have a strong administration background, ideally in a learning and development environment, with exceptional attention to detail being an essential requirement.


Full time- 37.5 hours

9am-5pm – Monday – Friday

 Salary:  From £16,500 – £24,000 depending on experience

Functional Skills Trainer

We are looking for an experienced Tutor to deliver Functional skills, Mathematics and English up to Level 2 under the new reform which was introduced in September 2019. Your role will be to inspire learners and deliver teaching session to learners working towards their Functional Skills test helping them to realise their potential as you support, advise and guide them through their training. You must be passionate about learning and delivering the best training and development. You will be experienced in working with different methods of delivery, groups of various sizes and learners of mixed abilities. Based from home, you will be responsible for managing DHA learners who require functional skills support. The role will require you to be involved in all aspects of the Numeracy and Literacy delivery including the carrying out of assessments and liaising with trainers, Learners, external verifiers and staff to maximise completions. You will possess a strong occupational background in Training and hold a Level 4 (or above) teaching qualification and a specialist in Maths and English at level 3 or above. There is a need to visit learners in the workplace throughout their programme so you will need to be flexible to travel across the UK.


Working closely with internal and external key stakeholders, while delivering a range of quality provisions, you will follow code of practice and the agreed procedure for any awarding bodies

Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving qualifications in Functional Skills.

Produce engaging content and virtual classroom sessions so that you can maximise the use of e-learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.

Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates’ progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.

Provide rigorous assessment and effective feedback to learners via robust marking of learners work and structured verbal and written feedback showing what the learner needs to do to improve.

Skills and knowledge

A strong occupational background in training, ideally functional Skills delivery experience. Ideally, specialise in English & mathematics at level 3 or above.

Passionate about people

Teaching qualification preferably at level 4 or above.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Strong organisational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise own workload ensuring that all learners have at least one monthly visit

Knowledge of awarding body requirements.

Possess excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
