Lloyds Bank & NHS Fund Care Apprenticeships For Bedspace Resource Ltd

Bedspace Resource Ltd started out in Blackpool working with refugees offering support and housing. They have expanded into offering services to young people leaving care both accommodation and educational support. They operate across North West.

We use DH Associates Ltd as our training provider and have a small number of apprenticeship learners. Georgina Fisher Training Manager worked with Jules Westbrook from DH Associates to set up their DAS account and developed a plan across North West for learning and development. Additional sources of apprenticeship funding was required as they quickly used there cap of 3 learners.

DH Associates were able to support Bedspace in accessing funds from Lloyds Bank and the NHS. Bedspace are the first care/support agency who has gone through the process with Lloyds Bank.  Through levy transfer 22 new apprentices were funded. The timescale from application to funding secured was a week. Bedspace plan to use levy transfer to fund a further 30 apprentices.
